High House Farm Brewery is an exciting and unique venue situated just a stone’s throw away from Hadrian’s Wall.

A micro brewery standing within a 200 acre working farm.

At High House Farm Brewery, you are always welcome – whether it’s visiting the restaurant and tearoom, sitting and relaxing with a pint or two while the children play outside in the playground or attending a wedding to dance the night away. There is full disabled access, including a platform lift & plenty of parking.

Whatever the reason, a warm welcome always awaits at High House Farm Brewery.

Heather, Gary & the team would like to thank you all for your continued support.

High House Farm Brewery are one of the very few breweries in the UK with a full wedding licence - meaning that you can not only hold your reception in the unique ambience of a real working brewery - but you can actually tie the knot here too!

We have a reputation for delicious homemade dishes, including fresh scones, cakes, soups, breakfasts, main meals and light snacks; all made with local produce. We also have a 3 mile Farm Walk - perfect for building up an appetite before your meal!

At the heart of the complex is the brewery, where you can see the malt loft together with an exhibition covering the process of brewing and the history of the farm. See where we brew all of our 18 beers and take some away to sample at home!

The venue is often booked for private functions. Please feel free to call and check that we are open before you set off to avoid disappointment.
