The High House Farm Brewery Visitor Centre is now under the management of local couple Heather and Gary Scott who are based just around the corner in Stamfordham.

All year round - except Christmas Day
Serving wonderful home cooked bar meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6.00 pm to 9.00pm
Sunday Lunches are from 12 noon onwards.
A special “pensioner’s lunch” on Tuesdays from 12 noon onwards.
The shop, bar, award winning tearoom and restaurant are all open, and we have a new children’s room with pet animals and lots of toys to play with!

Our 4.8% ABV bottled ale Matfen Magic has won SILVER at the North Region Beer Competition. We are very proud....and this is a photo of Denise and the Certificate looking cheerful...well done us!!

We have plenty of experience in providing a fascinating day or evening out for you and your guests. We can cater for groups up to 50 people 7 days a week, with brewery tours, tutored tastings and delicious homemade buffet menus. Our evening functions usually start at 6.30 pm and we have a license until 10.30 pm.
We have hosted evenings for societies, groups, companies and individual parties. Some of the feedback we have had so far includes:

A 30 minute brewery tour, carried out by one of our experienced guides, covering the history of brewing and the farm, the process of creating our real ales and a full tour of the brew rooms.
