Welcome to the website of High House Brewery - A business based in rural Northumberland dedicated to the production of traditional beers and ales of the very finest quality.
The brewery was founded in 2003 by Steven Urwin on the family farm of Matfen High House. Located in a converted grain store, the brewery and offices provide a modern and efficient business base with its roots very much grounded in history and tradition.
After the beers initial launch at the 2003 Tyneside Beer Festival, demand and praise for these traditional ales throughout the region has been very strong indeed - proof if ever it were needed, that the true beer enthusiast appreciates quality above all else.
Today, High House Farm Brewery has both the capacity, ability and enthusiasm to take its beers to a wider appreciative audience - Don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss stocking any of our range of fine ales.
The beers have already begun to win awards including CAMRA Regional Awards and SIBA Regional and National Awards.
We can also supply beers from our brewery for your special occasion in the North East, including “party packs” in traditional beer boxes, in 10 litres (17 pints), 20 litres (36 pints) or full casks including a tap and spile in 40 litres (72 pints). We can also supply beer glasses.
High House Farm Brewery has also developed a bottling facility alongside the brewery, and all three beers are now offered as bottled beers in various outlets.
